Add Border To Acabado Recent Posts On Homepage

If you are like my and your pictures aren’t always colorful, many of mine have a white background, then they kind of look odd with the rest of the images shown.

So to fix this on AcabadoTheme.com is that I added a bit of CSS to the featured image displays on the recent post section. This adds a little bit to the visual element and helps ensure similar looks between all the posts displayed.

To do this is just a few lines in your custom CSS:

  1. Go To Acabado Settings -> Acabado Settings
  2. Scroll to the lower section and find [ Custom CSS ]
  3. Add the lines below:
.article-card.horizontal .image-container {
    border: 1px solid black !important;
}

.article-card a .image-container {
    border: 1px solid black !important;
}

This will give your blog homepage a better look for when your graphics aren’t 100% box filling.
