Hiding Enabled Sidebar Widgets HTML Element On Homepage

This was needed as the Acabado Child theme provides access to the widget on the sidebar which many use to display ads. This is all well and good on a long blog post and you can stack a decent amount.

Unfortunately it looks very tacky on the homepage. But it is easy to target the homepage id and the 2 classes that make the html widget display to remove them from showing on your homepage only.

You need to find your pageid (hover over the page in the pages list and the link will show the id you will need to use.

Add the following to Custom CSS: (Note to Replace the (7) of my page with your page number. (This could also be duplicated onto other pages where you want to remove the ads)

.page-id-7 .widget_text {
    display: none;
}

.page-id-7 .widget_custom_html {
    display: none;
}
