If you are looking for a way to remove the sidebar and you want to remove it from all posts instead of a single post then this will be the post for you. My previous solution showed how you could remove a sidebar from any single specific post and today we will show how you remove it from all posts instead.

As with the single post solution this is only 2 lines of Custom CSS which will remove the sidebar (basically hidden) while expanding the content post side to 100% to fill the void of the vacated sidebar area.

Code To Add To Custom CSS

.single-post .site-main {
    width: 100%;
}

.single-post .widget-area{
    display: none;
}

  1. Hi, Josh.

    Thank you for the great work you do helping us Acabado users add some customization.

    By chance, I have an about page and was hoping you could help provide CSS code that would eliminate the sidebar on an About page that is listed as a page and not as a post. I run the single post or all post CSS code and I the sidebar still shows up on the main pages. Any help would be apprecitaed.

    Thank you,
    Jay.

    1. .site-main {
      width: 100%;
      }

      .site-content .widget-area {
      display: none;
      }

      .content-area {
      width: 100%;
      display: flex;
      align-items: center;
      justify-content: center;
      }
